We have stopped accepting orders effective immediately.
We will cease manufacturing once the orders in our current pipeline are fulfilled.
We believe now — and always have — that our products must not be sold unless they comply fully with current safety regulations. Unfortunately, it is impossible for us — a custom one-off manufacturer — to fully comply with the CPSIA-mandated third-party ASTM destructive testing that will be required on January 1, 2012.
Although the CPSIA has been recently modified, there is sufficient confusion surrounding the new law’s implementation to cast doubt over our ability to remain in full legal compliance after December 31, 2011.
